An auditing component provides the necessary audit trail of an executed service, helping you make sure regulatory or organizational compliance requirements are quickly and completely checked for accuracy. Reporting provides information on activity by users and changes to assets as well as information on available or unnecessary assets.

Caching policies can be specified on a per-object basis, either as a time-to-live value, as the number of reads allowed before a refresh is required or both. ProtoSOA caching works equally well in a clustered environment.
