Comframe Software Corporation has an immediate opening for a permanent Senior Project Manager/Business Architect hybrid position available in Birmingham, AL.

The Senior PM/BA will be responsible for managing and providing oversight on multiple client projects. Must have the ability to lead large enterprise software solution development within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction. Directs those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific project or group of projects from negotiation through implementation. Ensures that products meet specifications and quality goals. Executes plans for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends to project/product management activities. Responsible for acting as a liaison and coordinator between project team, sales, and the client Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

• Ensures the satisfaction of the clients and the proper level of project/account management

• Full understanding of business enterprises

• Manages resources on the assigned project teams, including delegation of responsibility and tasks, management of conflicts and issues and motivation of team members

• Manage and deliver the required project items, including establishing and updating plans with actual and forecasts, managing changes to the plan, ensuring quality, delivering on time and cost within agreed tolerances, reporting to respective stakeholders, managing issues, risks, escalation and communication and concluding the work upon completion

• Ability to write and coordinate others in writing proposals

• Effectively manage client expectations and satisfaction

• Provides and leads in supporting sales, i.e. project planning and sales consultations

• Plays key role in creating and delivering client presentations (with Sales)

• Follows ComFrame's delivery methodologies and best practices

• Provides oversight for business analyst functions

• Leads and participates in Communities of Practice (COP) meetings

• Participates in user group meetings and programs

• Verifies timesheets and expense invoices and coordinates with sales to ensure invoices are paid timely

• Provides feedback on the optimal delivery method of employing resources to achieve objectives and goals

• Ensures effective communication to all parties, e.g., clients, team members, operations

• Work closely with Sales to provide status of existing projects and identify expansion opportunities

• EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; Experience may be considered in lieu of the degree; PMI certification is preferred

• REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Good understanding of software engineering delivery (software development life-cycle)

• EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5+ years of experience in computer science or consulting; 1+ years of experience in computer science or consulting as a senior project manager

• SKILLS/ABILITIES: Good human relations abilities; Able to organize, coordinate, and direct projects; Strong oral and written communication abilities; Solid analytical and technical skills; Able to use all related hardware and software
